User info

 I am 58 years old and started in the amateur radio hobby in 1972 as a short wave listener in Hong Kong (when it was VS6). After coming back to the UK, I was first licensed in 1978 as G8PMA, but now use the callsign G3KME since 2006, because this was my Father's callsign from 1955 to 1988 when he died, and it means a lot to me to keep using it. However I intend to start using my original G8PMA callsign again from the beginning of 2015.

I am mostly interested in digital modes - mainly PSK31/63/125 and sometimes RTTY and recently JT65/JT9 on hf. 

I also operate sometimes on vhf: 6m/4m/2m SSB and occasionally 70cm for chat locally.
