I've been a SWL and junk builder for over 45 years and now retired since May 2010. So it was time to get the license ...so I got it on the 10th of December 2010 !

Being a HAM is an honor and a pleasure for me. I think we have a great opportunity to spread friendship all over the world and this should be one of our main purposes.

My toys  are Yaesu FT950 & FT897D connected to V mutiband dipole on the top side of the house (via a MFJ962D tuner if necessary)
For V/UHF, I also use Yaesu FT897D + FT7800 + FTM400  on a 7elts yagi .+ Pocket  Anytone D878

So, I am  QRV Analog, DMR, C4FM and recently QO100 satellite phone RX/TX  and ATV RX.

I like old tranceivers so I am also using sometines an old FT101ZD ... But I need time to make it warm up :-)

I am also  fully connected to Hamnet network .

I live in a small village near Bordeaux between St Emilion, Pomerol and Fronsac  ! It's a very pleasant and quiet corner, rather green and producing marvellous wine  :-) .
