A little personal history.

Between the years 1975-1985 I began my activity in Radio, as a listener of HF radio broadcasting and as a CB broadcaster.

Then between 1988-1993 my activity was exclusively in CB

In 1994 I began real activity in Radio, I obtained the callsign EB4GIA and I dedicated myself to VHF/UHF, in packet radio first and then in the vhf and uhf contests, obtaining my best classification in the 1996 MAF national championship, occupying 2nd position in VHF single operator and 1 in UHF single operator. At the same time, I began the most rewarding activity for me: MS on 144 from my home in Fuenlabrada Madrid (IN80cg) and some outings during peaks of rain to clear areas. I also dedicated myself to working on satellites, especially the AO13, now deceased, in which I obtained very good results, working a large number of grids, I also worked on the AO10 although it is not deceased, it is as if it were, in those times it was also difficult to work on it, I got one of the first TTloc diplomas awarded with almost 100 confirmed grids.

My equipment was Kenwood TS790 and my antennas were the 17b2 in VHF and in UHF it was also a Cushcraft but I don't remember the model, I think it had 25 elements.

From this stage I want to make a special mention of my partner in fatigue, who among us we learned and achieved good results, Miguel Ángel Vallejo EA4EOZ.

Now in 2024 and with a view to my professional retirement I return to radio after almost 25 years in QRX I see things changed, but well it is a matter of learning again, I am interested in digital modes and in the high bands from 10 to 440 Mhz with special interest in the bands of 30, 17, 15, 10, 6 and 2 meters. I had to re-examine myself to obtain the license, what things, but they have allowed me to recover my old callsign, which I am fond of and some of you will know me.

At the moment I am not going to have a fixed station but I hope soon I would like to set it up in my second residence Riaza Segovia IN81gg. For now I will go out on the balcony from my QTH in Madrid IN80dj and from the one indicated in Riaza.

The equipment I have is:

The veteran Kenwood TS-790 for 2 meters and 70 cm, the ICOM IC7300 for HF and 6 meters and an ICOM IC705 for sale

As for antennas, I won't say anything, since it's all provisional, in Riaza I will mount a vertical ANTENNA D-ORIGINAL OUT-250B VERTICAL HF ANTENNA 10/80 M + 6 M accompanied by a DOUBLE BAND SQUARE LOOP TYPE ANTENNA D-ORIGINAL DX on the balcony. -YG-1443- VU-B.

In Madrid I will set up something more precarious PORTABLE BROADBAND ANTENNA D-ORIGINAL OUTBACK 2012 80m, 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, 11m, 10m, 6m, 2m. with a base with radials

It is possible to confirm contacts via LOTW, EQSL or Buro
