Hi! My Name Is Bim Sabillo, DW1XHB. Friends call me Bim or Beamer.

I’m quite new in the Ham World but I started out in the telecommunication field 30+ years ago (1981) working as Telecommunications Technician at a Local Company in the Philippines called Philippine Telegraph and Telephone Corp.

My work would eventually take me to the Middle East working for Bell Canada International for its Saudi Arabian Intra-Kingdom Microwave Project as a Sr. Microwave Technician, and  onto  the Oil giant - Saudi Aramco communications Department as Sr. Specialist Electronics/Communications Technician.

After “retiring” as an Expat and tried my hand as a business entrepreneur, I became nostalgic about my True Passion which is Radio Communications..

I joined KABALIKAT CIVICOM  a local/international civic radio group years ago and decided to become a serious Ham Radio Enthusiast. Though I work mostly in the 2M band, I recently aquired an HF Radio and have been scouring from 10 to 80M band looking for Ham friends all over the world and hope to find my old buddies in the expat world who might be also in the Ham world...
