 Hello ham radio buddies, my name is Dirk,

I live in a small town right on the Rhine, between Cologne and Düsseldorf, called Monheim

Monheim has a population of ~42000 peoples.

I have some hobbies.

For example I like to drive my motorcycle, I learn Esperanto (a language), operate Aikido (since 2005).
Another hobby is geocachen, and my new hobby is hamradio.
A long time ago I made CB radio at the 80s 

I'm a retro tech nerd.
I experienced and lived the beginnings of Pong, Pacman, Space Invaders, Atari2600, C64, VC20, ZX81, TI99 4/A etc.
And I'm not ashamed of it. 

I was born in 1967 in Dusseldorf.

Since 16.12.2022 I'm in possession of the "E" licence (CEPT-Novice) and my callsign is DO1DWM.
Since 16.06.2023 I'm in possession of the "A" licence (CEPT) and my callsign is DL5DW.
