The members of the local DARC chapter Bergkamen O47 celebrate their 40th anniversary in 2022. The official foundation date is 24th March 1982. We will use the special call-sign DF40BGK in contests, our public events and normal operations.

This special call-sign is assigned to the special DOK 40O47

QSL policy:

We will upload our log to LoTW, eqsl, HRDLog and DARC Community-Logbook (DCL) on a regular base. The electronic QSL is our first and preferred option. However, we will answer all incoming paper cards. Buro is preferred!

The picture above shows the members and guests of the foundation party in April 1982. We had a tremendous time in the past and we look forward having some more fun on the air, at our field-day site and in our club-pub!

At this point we thank all the great (X)YLs and OMs who made this team succesful in VHF/UHF and HF contests. We remember our members who passed away too early and remember in honour when we operate this call-sign.

Special thanks to our first chairman Herbert DF7DJ and the co-founder Heinz DK4CJ, Hans DK9DP and Hartmut DK9DN. All fellows are still active. Meanwhile new and active members completed the team and therefore you will copy us "on the air" in the future, too.
