I was born on 22nd of October, 1955. I studied Physics at the Johann - Wolfgang - Goethe University in Frankfurt/M. From 1983 to the end of 1985 I worked at the Joint Research Centre of the European Community in Ispra/Italy. From 1986 to 2017 I worked in a research and development department on environmental engineering tests and evaluations. Since 2018 I am retired.
I got my first amateur radio license in 1975 (DB1ZL). 1977 I upgraded my license (cw exams) and received the call DF1ZN.
