User info
I have my license since 1992.
My main short-wave radio is currently a Icom IC-746(The black one in the middle of the second picture) with HF,2m and 6m. It makes 100W on 2m and 85-100W on shortwave. A great machine! I use a Icom SM-20 for the IC-746.
I have a lot of other old transceivers:
Yaesu FT-200 from 1968
Yaesu FL-101 Transmitter with FR-101 Receiver from 1974
Sommerkamp FT-277B(FT-101) from 1977
Kenwood TS-700G (2m Allmode)
NVA R-107T Transceiver
I love sometimes to operate like a OM in old times :-)
I also have some old tube radios/receivers:
Loewe Opta Globus (old wood case tube radio)
Trio 9R-4J
Russian Military P-326M
I have for QRP portable a Kenwood TS-120V with a selfmade ZS6BKW Dipol and a selfmade Z-Match. It have a nice modulation and a good receiver.
And I have a selfmade SDR Transceiver LimaSDR with homebrew Bandpass and homebrew 40W Linear.
I also have old CB-Radio Stuff from my beginnings at the 80's. Not enough space for all old radios :-)
My Big Linear PA is a homebrew linear amplifier with one GS35B tube in a computer 19 inch 6HE server case.It can make over 2KW PEP Output (see power table at the end). In Germany is only 750W PEP allowed on shortwave. I can use it for all shortwave radios.
For 70cm Allmode I have a Icom IC-471E with 25W PeP.
My main antenna for 2m/70cm is a Diamond X300 antenna and for long distance repeaters a fixed vertical 5 element beam in NE direction. For 2m SSB I have a 5 Element horizontal on my antenna rotor under the hex beam.
For 10,12,15,17,20 m I have a classic Hexbeam (DL7IO). For 6m I use the hexbeam with the Icom internal tuner.
For 40-160m I have a self-made double dipole with a homemade symetric tuner.
I also have a IMax 2000 Groundplane for 10-15m. So a lot of antennas for different conditions.
For 2m/70cm portable I have a Baofeng UV-3R Portable Radio. Output 2W.
For the digital modes and logbook I have a Dualcore Notebook with self-made interfaces to the transceivers. I use ham radio deluxe.
In the car I have a Icom IC-3220H Dualband with a 2m/70cm antenna with 50 Watts.
