My Name is Michael and my QTH is at the Bodensee (Lake of Konstanz) in South Germany at the border to Switzerland. I am meber of DARC ham radio club Konstanz with DOK A01.

Starting my ham radio activity in 1973 as a school boy I was always interested in 144MHz  432MHz ands 1296MHz SSB DX qso Contests and building my own home brew equipment and especially antennas.

My activity was more or less nothing the last 10 years and now since two years I start again to be active as an ham radio operator. My main interests are now:

POCSAQ paging system gateways now interfacing to the new beautiful DAPNET system, see www.hampager.de , the transmitter is located in Singen and its call sign is DM0SAT , see https://aprs.fi/info/a/PS-DM0SAT

and since this years Ham Radio in Friedrichshafen also D-STAR

We have one D-STAR Repeater operational in Singen under the callsign DM0SAT see https://aprs.fi/#!call=a%2FDM0SAT-B&timerange=3600&tail=3600

And completely new for me I start to install a shortwave station and antennas to be active as an operator on shortwave. Since beginning 2018 I am a fan of FT8 with the amazing sofwtare from K1JT WSTX-S.
