After retiring in 2014, my wife Marcia (NC4MT) have become very much involved in ham radio.  We were first licensed in 1993, but set it all aside during working years.  Now we are both Volunteer Examiners, serving our local radio club - Forsyth Amateur Radio Club, members of ARRL, and our Airstream radio club - WB4CAC.  I routinely check-in on the RV Service Net on 7.191 that runs between 7:00AM - 9:00AM Eastern time.

We have a modest station with a Kenwood TS-2000 (primary), an ICOM-706, Heathkit SB-102, and a Kenwood 540.  Our 65-foot tower hosts a Cushcraft A3S, and supports a centerfed ladderline multi-band dipole.

We enjoy contesting, and digital modes, specifically FT8, chasing DX, and Field Days.
